  1. Go to doctor and get checked out. Your doctor will be able to advise you.

Depends how long she has been pregnant and how long she has beeen taking the meth during pregnancy. Obviously the longer through the pregnancy she takes it the more likely it may affect the baby.

  2. well she should go to the hospital or doctor and get herself check any kind of drug is bad for a baby, well just go straight to them and tell them that they going to be grandparents

  3. I did too when I was pregnant. I didn't know that I was pregnant. Then when I found out I quit. My baby was fine and I have been clean for 6 years now. But maybe I was just lucky. She should get as much pre-natal care as possible. For the sake of the baby. And you mister, you need to tell your parents asap and let them know your plans. I hope you step up and be the father that baby deserves. Good luck.

  4. With any luck she'll have a miscarriage. Otherwise, wrap yourself up before you have s*x in the future. Now it's too late.

I don't know how far along she is but I'm pro choice. Save your drug money and go get her pregnancy terminated because having a baby will ruin her chance for a future (if the drugs won't), not to mention yours potentially, and the baby won't be happy with a druggie mother now will it?

You're both young by the sounds of it, and you're entitled to mistakes. But a baby, once born, is a life, not a mistake. Get it taken care of. Then have kids when you are ready, and don't mess around with drugs. It's ridiculous. I don't care who you are, you're better than that.

If you get it terminated, don't tell your parents unless you are on very good terms with them. If it was me, I wouldn't. But they may require people under 18 to get parental consent in your area. But, It is after all your error. You are adult enough to have s*x, you are adult enough to be responsible for the outcome.

You're just probably not adult enough to pay all the bills that come along with the outcome. I have deep pity for you both and the potential child.

  5. If she completely stops using drugs immediately, the baby should be OK.

  6. Your girlfriend needs to go and see a doctor and get her and the baby checked out. You need to tell your parents that you are going to be a dad and they are going to be grandparents as soon as possible. Just sit down with them and tell them.

    Congratulations and Good luck!! =)

  7. Yeah, she should stop.

I can't say how much the baby will be affected, by she has to quit.

Oh, and you're just going to have to tell them straight up.

Don't cut corners, that makes parents mad.

I would know, I was with my best friend in that kitchen, when she told her dad.

It was insane, he flipped because she started with small talk first, that got him impatient.

So just tell them, I'm sure the worse they can do is ground you.

  8. First off no 17 year old or ANYONE should be doing meth.  And of course she should go immediately to the hospital.  And I hope you are truly ready to be a father at such a young age. You have to be responsbile and tell your parent straight out what is going on. You need to plan financially and emotionally for this new baby.  They will be your LIFE now, love that baby no matter WHAT>

  9. According to some research a single hit of meth at any stage of development can cause defects.  Low birth weight, cleft palates and other malformations.

As far as telling your parents, I would suggest just sitting down with them and saying it.  I can't imagine there is going to be anything that will lessen the blow.  Better to just be upfront about the entire situation, to include your girlfriend's drug use.

Good luck, life can be rough.

  10. yes your baby will be retarded

    ....

how the h**l would we know?

go to a doctors for gods sake!!

  11. You really need to tell your parents immediately because apparently neither one of you are very responsible (no offense!). It could definitely hurt the baby but as long as she stays away from drugs, cigarettes and alcohol all together from now on your chases are good that your baby will be just fine. She need to get medical care IMMEDIATELY if she hasn't already and she needs to mention it to her OBGYN that she has used drugs, they have to know that so they can watch for complications from the drug use.

Be honest with your parents, go sit down with them even if your scared! Tell them you understand what you have done, that you know the consequences and are ready to take responsibility. They will be disappointed I'm sure but if you go them confidently and honestly they will embrace the fact that your are handling this like an adult. They will probably get mad in that moment but they love you and only want the best for you.

Good luck! and please tell your girlfriends doctor that she has used drugs...if they know, they can do more to make sure your baby doesn't suffer.

P.s. Both of you need to quit using drugs if your bringing a baby into this world. That helpless baby needs you to be a man and needs your girlfriend to be a good mother.
