Druids Mel worth betting on – Sunderland Williamhill.com Stakes Preview
The Williamhill.com Stakes will be hosted by Sunderland tonight, February 9, 2012. The 450 metre long Grade A5 heat is one of the last couple of races in Thursday’s card. According to the present schedule, the competition is due to get underway at 13:33.
Among the participants are Bransa Grizzly, Joker Two, Balliblue Stan, Glassmoss Darkey, Druids Mel, and Le Thrashing. This line-up is one of the best in the town, and the spectators are privy to profound a lot of entertainment.
The Bookies are showing a lot of interest in Druids Mel, and they cannot be criticised for this, since the black b***h is mighty talented. However, it is a bitter reality that her recent performances are not impressive by any means.
After a couple of ordinary shows, Top Honcho’s daughter out of Fly Mel improved only a little, and finished among top 3 in her last outing. Considering the way she has been performing over the last few weeks, it will be a brave step to rate her as the favourite.
However, her fans will make a lot of money, if the b***h performs to her potential.
The bookies are not expecting much from Bransa Grizzly, who finished sixth in his last outing. His last triumph came on January 11, when the black dog made a fine effort to seal one-length victory. Following his recent form, it is hard to say that Boherduff
Light’s son out of Uncanny will be able to trouble the judge.
Joker Two has been improving day by day. On the final day of January, the b***h finished second on the table. At one stage, she was in a great position to win the race, but the luck didn’t favour her.
Droopys Maldini’s daughter out of Clemmas Destiny lost the heat by a short head’s margin. After a powerful performance last time around, the female hound is confident of producing something marvellous tonight.
Balliblue Stan has nothing to attract the bettors. In his last five heats, he could not impress the audience, as he got crowded on each occasion. The blue dog will be under huge pressure, and avoiding any sort of mess is going to be his top priority.
On the other hand, Glassmoss Darkey has lot of good performances under his belt. The black dog registered two consecutive wins last month. Finishing second in the previous outing, he clocked the area in just 27.91 seconds.
The things are definitely going to be great for his fans, if the hound will be able to improve his running time even a little.
Winning the contest will be an uphill task for Le Thrashing, who has not been doing well for last few days. He finished third in each of his last four races and therefore, it is extremely hard to recommend him.
Although, Druids Mel is currently the centre of attention, Joker Two, and Glassmoss Darkey cannot be overlooked. The trio is expected to secure first three positions on the table, and anyone of them can take the victory by putting in an extra effort.
