Drumcove Lad likely to dominate proceedings in Millennium Stand Bookmakers Golden Sprint - Heat 2
Drumcove Lad is expected to dominate proceedings in the Millennium Stand Bookmakers Golden Sprint - Heat 2 at Romford in England on Friday, April 6, 2012. The winner of the Grade OR event will walk away with a cash prize of £150.
The race distance to cover for the greyhounds will be 400 metres and the event will start at 20:02 GMT. Following are the entries confirmed: Drumcove Lad, Fancy Socks, Jennas Pony, Guinness Andy, Kilelton Anni and Little Urge.
The bookmakers have full faith in the abilities of Drumcove Lad, who has been in terrific form over the past couple of races. He has got a lot of experience and has been delivering consistent results since making debut in the sport.
C. Allsopp’s trainee has finished first in his previous two outings and has the winning momentum at the moment. It will be quite hard for the rest of the runners to match his speed and skills.
In his most recent race, Drumcove Lad managed to finish on top of the table by a short head distance. He was not the favourite to win that event, but still managed to outperform his rivals.
The black dog is the son of Scarty Lad out of Drumcove Fancy and was born in June 2009.
On the other hand, Fancy Socks is also a good runner and the bookmakers expect her to fight for victory at Romford today. She has not been in good form recently, thus the bettors will be reluctant to risk money in her favour.
R. Griffin’s trainee struggled to match her rivals in her most recent race, as she finished fourth overall. This was still not a bad result, but she will need to produce something special in order to win today’s race, as the competition is quite a tough
one.
The seasoned b***h is the daughter of Scarty Lad out of Moyar Gi Gi and was born in June 2009.
Jennas Pony, Guinness Andy and Kilelton Anni are also decent runners and might cause an upset at Romford today. However, the current form of Drumcove Lad suggests that he will not allow anyone else to come closer in the race.
