Drumcrow Bond in for a hat trick in the Coral On TV Trophy – Heat 2 on 20th February
Raced over 400 metres, the Coral On TV Trophy – Heat 2 is to be held at Romford on Monday, 20th February. The open race has the prize money of £150 that the winning hound gets to claim.
Drumcrow Bond, Droopys Scolari’s three-year-old blue son out of b***h Drumcrow Nicola has been active through the 2012 season and has got six races against his name. Out of these starts, he has won twice and placed was twice too.
Drumcrow Bond won on 31st January by racing through the 400 metre track in 24.30 seconds. He led by 1 ¾ lengths, putting Scramble into the second position.
On 10th February, Drumcrow Bond won the David Jacobs Memorial Race at Romford, raced over 400 metres. He was across the wire in 24.28 seconds and was followed by the 5/2 favourite of the race, Droopys Darryl.
Getting hold of the race today would mean that the three-year-old will qualify for a hat trick. He might as well be entered as a favourite for today’s race.
Bubbly Africa, the four-year-old black b***h trained by P. Young is yet another potential candidate for the race. The five times that she got down on track to race during 2012, she won twice and was placed once.
Bubbly Africa won the Grade A1 race on 26th January at Romford. She cleared the 400 metre distance in 24.15 seconds and had the advantage of 1 ½ length.
Droopys China was the 11/10 favourite of the race and finished the closest behind the winner.
After getting defeated on 3rd February, Bubbly Africa bounced back into form and won the Grade A1 400 metre flat race on 8th February. More like repeating the victory pattern, she again forced the favourite of the race, Point To Prove, into the second slot.
Bubbly Africa went through the wire after racing for 24.48 seconds.
High Noon, the three-year-old dog under training P. Dolby has been performing consistently through the 2012 season. He has maintained his ranking to the third position and has also posted a seasonal debut victory.
High Noon won the Grade A1 420 metre race on 27th January at Peterborough. He was across the wire in 25.87 seconds while the 5/2 favourite of the race, Monleek Merc finished in the end.
