i play the center snare for my high school drumline. This past couple of weeks we have started playing a lot more for our show, and this week I have playd several hours every day. After awhile of playing my forearm starts to get a burning stabbing feeling and it runs back through my tricep to but its just on my right arm. is it tendinitis? or somthin else? if i continue to play the pain just gets worse and worse

  1. Well, it can be many things... But that isn't an answer.

The only way to get a real, legit answer is to go to a doctor. No shame in reaching out to someone who's job it is to help you.

Some of my advice would be try playing until the burning sensation 'starts'. See how long it takes (time). Then wait a few days on do the same thing again and see if the time is around the same. You might be over working your muscles if 3 days later it takes longer. That means your muscles in your arm have regrown. If it's around the same you should go to a doctor.

    Also, check out : http://www.webmd.com/

That might be able to help a tad bit more than i could.
