Drummurrer Jim expected to win Kingspan Social Club Stakes
Drummurrer Jim is expected to win the Kingspan Social Club Stakes at Belle Vue in England on Friday, June 8, 2012. A cash prize of £76 has been set for the winner of the Grade A2 event.
The stamina of all participants will be tested, as the distance to cover will be 470 metres. The action is scheduled to start at 21:25 GMT and following runners have lined up for the race: Devil Fish, Brave Dawn, Romeo Region, Drummurrer Jim, Huckles Hatrick and Take Flight.
Although the competition will be tough in the race, Drummurrer Jim’s stamina will definitely make him a strong contender for victory. His performances in this class have been decent and he is carrying the winning momentum, thus the punters are expected to risk a lot of bets on him today.
The H. Adamson’s trained hound is young, but has gained some useful experience in his career. He has participated in quite a few races and his stamina is one of his key strengths.
Out of his past five outings, Drummurrer Jim has managed to win twice. He has been doing a good job consistently in other events as well, which goes onto show the kind of form he is carrying at the moment.
In his most recent race, the black dog finished on top of the table comfortably by a margin of two lengths. He was brisk at the start and continued to increase the gap to others. No one was able to challenge him until the end and a similar run will ensure him a second consecutive victory at Belle Vue.
Drummurrer Jim is the son of Black Shaw out of Kattied and was born in August 2009.
On the other hand, the bookmakers have shown more confidence in the abilities of Devil Fish, who is also carrying the winning momentum right now. He has got plenty of experience, but can be a touch inconsistent at times.
The J. McCombe’s trainee has managed to win a couple of back to back races, which shows the kind of form he is in at the moment. He is the son of Ballymac Maeve out of She Sha Reef and was born in October 2008.
