I have contacts. I havn't been wearing them for long, maybe a bit over half a year. I'm completely comfortable with them. I use 2clearsphere.I havnt had a problem until now. My eyes are so dry all the time. It's hard to sleep theyre so dry. I cant just keep on putting in eye drops. I don't have glasses, they broke recently so I can't stop wearing my contacts. I'm going to for just a day though. I usally wear them from 2pm to 4 am. I know thats alot but I don't have glasses. What can I do?

  1. Well, one of the first and most obvious things you have to do is get those glasses fixed so you can give your eyes a break.

Then finding the reason why your eyes have become so dry.

It could be just that you have been overwearing them and your eyes need 4 or 5 days without them on.

It could also be that you have developped an intolerance to the cleaning solution you use.

It could also be an intolerance to the material of the lenses themselves, that can sometimes take several months to show up as a problem.

I have never heard of 2Clearsphere lenses and can't even find any info about them on the net. I wanted to see if they are a high water content lens , and what type of lenses they are. The higher the water content, the more water they will draw from your eyes...making dry eyes even worse.

See your optometrist about that as soon as you can. The longer you wait, the worse it will get.

    Thanks for the info Princeidoc.
