Hello!

I went to the Opticians and they said my right eye has a dry upper eyelid which is causing me some discomfort whilst using contacts.

She reccomended warm water and sodium something.

Would anyone know what it is?

Thanks!

  1. I had something similar. My doctor said to wet the contact lenses frequently throughout the day. That has helped a lot. Also using disposable soft lenses helped a lot. You can throw the lenses out after 2 weeks and put a new lense in. Old lenses accumulate protein deposits and irritate your eyelids. I had giant conjunctivitis under my upper eyelids before I started wearing the disposables. At night, I squirt one packet of  Refresh in my eyes. Refresh comes in individual packets without any preservative. Keeping preservatives, which are found in eye products, out of my eyes has helped a lot. Using wetting solution on the lenses throughout the day has helped a lot. Keep 'em wetted down.
