Question:

Dry eye???

i have had dry eye before but usually just blurry eyes and sensitive to sun and wind, but this time i am having problems focusing and if i look at something that is across the room for more than asecond it gets real blurry and my eyes hurt for a second could this still be dry eye? And i already where glasses and just got anew perscription like 2 months ago.

  1. Bion Tears are the best for dry eyes, they seem to add a little more lubrication than some of the other eye drops. It does sound like dry eye, but as usual if the problem continues see an eye doctor. Hopefully all will be well.

  4. First of all, I strongly disapprove of Visine. It contains chemicals that can make your condition worse over time. There are tons of different artificial tears available over the counter. Dry eyes can cause all of the problems you are having. If the tears used routinely four times a day don't seem to help, contact your doctor. There are several other options you can discuss with your doctor. Such as tear duct plugs and Restasis, a prescription drop that will help your eyes to produce their own natural tears again.
