Dry eyes and i wear contacts??

my eyes are normally pretty dry and i wear contacts on a regular basis.

is there a way to moisten eyes without eye drops.

do cucumbers work??

You probably need artificial tears, which are eye drops, but they don't sting.  If your opthamologist tests you for dry eyes and you have a problem with the drops, there is a surgical procedure (very simple), where they put little plugs in your tear ducts.  The idea is to retain your tears in your eyes to keep them moist.  

    Read the article below, because there are a number of things you can do to help keep your eyes moist naturally.

    The cucumber idea is for reducing puffiness around the eye...like when you wake up first thing in the morning with puffy eyes...tea bags work for that, also.  But read the article...hope it helps!


  2. Cucumbers!???  lol...never heard of that before.  Eye drops are the best way...use the "Natural Tears"...that's what I used with my contacts. I think there's also a Rx medication now that helps with dry eyes....but  it probably has side effects worse than having dry eyes.
