Dry skin lotion on oily skin?

what happens if i use dry skin lotion on oils skin. my skin is oily and one week ago, i started using my mum's dry skin lotion ( her skin is dry). is it ok?

Get new mysteriousness. i use dead sea products. They work great for me.
