i just experienced very severe pain in the right side of my mouth (four wisdom teeth removed) but it's only been one day since the wisdom tooth extraction... the pain started randomly and mild but then immediately changed to extreme pain and gave me a huge headache... what could this be??? and how can i stop it?

  1. If you are still bleeding then you don't need to worry about a dry socket right now because it would just clot again.  I think could have even been the medication that they dentists gave you starting to wear off.  Don't hesitate to contact a health specialist if you are really concerned

  2. If you have been taking the prescribed pain meds on schedule, then it could possibly be a dry socket. Call the dentist if the pain is still extreme tomorrow. They will most likely see you immediatley, then put medication in the socket to soothe it.
