i had my wisdom teeth removed about 3 and half weeks ago, and i also had some other surgeries while i was asleep gettting the wisdom teeth out.

i have so many symtopms that lead to it,

the bottom half where the wisdom were removed, it was finished hurting like a week ago and i was no longer swallon, now im swallon again on the bottom and it hurts like h**l,

stuff is coming out of it, some kind of liquid and it smells really bad and also tastes very bad.

If you could help that would be lovely!

i just wanna no if i have it, and what to do with it, they say it usually comes about 3-4 days after surgery, for me its been 3 weeks. and it just randomly came, its been hurting for days but this is the first sign of anything that looks like dry socket.

please help me, it hurts so much.

  1. You need to call your dentist and schedule an appointment for you to go back in, Quickly!

    I don't think it's a dry socket.

The oozing of the liquid makes me worried you might have some kind of infection that's oozing out.

They will need to take a look at what's causing the infection and get you started on some antibiotics.

Good luck and I hate that you are in so much pain!

Also, when  you call your dentist you may want to ask them if they can go ahead and give you some meds for the pain.  If they won't give you a scrip, try taking 4 ibuprofen (200 mg each) every 4 hours.  This has helped me through numerous tooth pains.

  2. a dry socket is pretty much the worst thing that can happen during post surgery. you need to call your dentist/surgeon right away. it sounds like you have a dry socket and it could eben been infected. if you sucked on a straw to hard or something like that, you can give yourself a dry socket. luckily, they are common and your dentist will be able to fix it for you. the bad part is its very painful and usually has to be done through another surgery.
