1. Do dryer sheets (bounce, method, etc) make that big of a difference?

2. Do they have any positive features other than making the clothes smell good?

3. Are they bad for the environment?

Thanks!

  1. I like using dryer sheets (I prefer Downy April Fresh scent, because it matches my detergent and liquid fabric softener, but Snuggle dryer sheets smell really good too. For the most part most dryer sheets smell good actually. But as far as getting a stronger scent, Downy and Snuggle work best imo). They do reduce static cling and slightly soften your clothes. I also place them around the house and in open windows, so when the wind blows in the house I get that fresh scent. A lot of people stick them in their drawers, suitcases, purse, car, etc to freshen things up. I've heard you can scrub pans with them.. but I've never tried that one. So yeah.. there are a few other uses for them. :o)

  2. 1.  they can

    2.  dryer sheets remove static electricity from laundry and they also soften fabrics

    3.  well, they are not "milk jug" bad, if that is what you mean, but I don't think you can recycle them.  You can however reuse them on a couple of loads, and you can also use them as dusters, or put them in your dresser drawers to keep clothes smelling fresh!

EDIT:  You can purchase biodegradable dryer sheets....Yeah!

  3. Yes they do make a difference, they reduce static electricity and they make you clothes feel softer and easier to iron and fold.  They also provide a nice smell.

Another interesting fact with dryer sheets if you are out where Mosquito's are try placing one in your pocket, those pesky Mosquito's will leave you alone

    Best of luck
