Hey there, so my dryer isn'tw orking, I don't know what kind it is, but it's a kenmore. So anyways, It's a front load, the drum or the inside of it was wet at one point, ti's not drying my clothes at all. It seems to be running fine, what could this be?

  1. A couple of things you can check are, make sure that the exhaust isn't stopped up or kinked, this can cause the sensor to "think" the dryer heats properly when it doesn't.  You already said you checked for lint, so that eliminates another possible issue.  Next thing to check is your breaker to make sure that the dryer gets enough current to heat, as well as the current to turn.  If you're not sure, cut the breaker off, then back on again.  If the dryer heats properly now, then great, that was the problem.  The other possibility is needing a new heating element.

  2. it sounds like your heating element is going out...ours did that not too long ago...my mom was great at putting too many wet clothes in it so it overloaded it...you might have to get it fixed but I would just buy a new one...unless it still has a good warranty  then take it back to where you got it good luck!

  3. do it the old fashion way and use the clothes line...

  4. Your heating element is probably going out.  It's actually not that hard to replace yourself - just get the make and model number off your dryer and call Sears ( they're the ones that sells Kenmore. )  If it does feel warm or hot inside after you have tan it for a while - check to make sure that your ventilation shaft isn't clogged with lint or some other obstacle.

  5. call your dryer company and ask for fixing it.

did you take out dust from dryer? if you don't sometimes it doesn't dry clothes at all
