I recently washed and dried a few crayons in my dryer.I got the dryer clean very well using Comet and steel wool. But now the dryer overheats and is too dangerous too use.Can someone tell me why the crayon has made this happen?

  1. I don't think it was the crayon.  I think it was the way the crayon was removed. I must have been too harsh a cleaning and stripped the insides of the dryer, leaving 'hot spots"

sorry this happened.  Will it over heat if you set it on just cool-dry?

good luck to you, rotten luck this happened
