Drying flowers?

I want to dry flowers, but I don't know if i need to soak them in something beforhand or just hang them

if you are trying to dry roses, just take them out of the water and hand them upside down, they will dry just fine on there own, they make special powders for drying flowers you can check with a place like Micheals or Hobby LObby , they sell the fairly inexpensive, but roses are for me by far the easiest to dry,  so if i were you  i would stick to the roses and just hang them in a room and let um dry

and if you want to after to keep them looking nice you can spray paint them with clear spray paint,  good luck

No you don't want to soak them.  You can get a press kit (makes a nice present for kids also) or just hang them upside down from your rafters or ceiling in your basement.
