Dss welcome lettings agent?

does anyone know of any letting agents or private landords that accept dss in nottingham? i need to move but cant go coucil.

Some of them will, but there is many that wont allow DSS.  Its the same up and down the country Im afraid.  All you can do is trawl through the classified ads and call up the agents.

Go to your local Citizens advice bureau,they have lists and phone numbers

Your local council or CAB will have a list of places and telephone numbers, from experience though i would choose private landlord over letting agents. They charge a higher fee if your paying by DSS, i went in and they told me finders fee would be £75 but once they found out i was on DSS and the council were paying my deposit and months rent in advance they upted the fee for the same house to £140. I was desperate so paid up by they take the p**s. So try and find a decent private landlord over a letting agent!
