We have a sante fe' and when m grandma died both my mom and aunt owned half of the car. Now we have paid half the blue book value of the car. Which is what we would have to pay to own the car. We have but now my aunt refuses to sign the papers allowing us to put the car into my moms name. The reasons why she won't sign have nothing to do with the car. She is trying to use the papers to get other things she wants. Is there any way we change my moms name as the full owner of the car with out her signature ?

  1. No. You can try to hire a lawyer and go to court to show that your mom has paid the balance and not your aunt however it might be a waste of your time. That vehicle is just as much your aunts as it is your moms legally. I know thats not the answer you want, but its correct. Good Luck.
