  1. If you reside in the UK as an EU citizen - rather than as a ZAF with an immigrant status then, although you may leave on whichever doc you like, you MUST carry the Greek doc else you'll apear to have no UK status if stopped at the airport.  When returning you MUST use the Greek ppt.  You cannot just turn up on a blank ZAF ppt and say "oh - it's ok I live here - I'm Greek you know".  The fact that the Greek doc is not biometric does not make it invalid. I'd recommend getting a new one if it's out of date (if you are planning on returning the UK)

  2. how did u enter u.k.? if there was police check then there will not be any problem. it depends if u required a visa 4 travelling. if not i do n't think it would be any problem. i think u can use ur s.a passport . dont be afraid nothing will happen.

  3. is you SA passport still valid ?

it should not be a problem since you are a citizen of SA , you may leave the UK with your S.A passport .......

just carry your Greek passport that was used to enter the UK and be sure to show it in case of questions ....

you have a right to return to S.A being in citizen .

if in doubt ? call the immigration or write the immigration office :

    indpublicenquiries@ind.homeoffice.gsi....

S.A do not need visa to enter UK

  4. it will not be a problem leaving the uk, but entering southafrica is what i did't know. as for leaving the uk, there's no immigration when leaving uk. so please cheack with the southafrican embassy before leaving.

  5. Depends on whether there is a visa requirement when travelling between UK and SA.

  6. No problem what so ever, I too am a dual national and the passport that I use to enter or leave a country depends on a) if there is a visa requirement b) my mood if there are visa requirements.

  7. If you entered on a Greek passport then so long as it has not expired then it is still perfectly valid for leaving the country.  There's a clause in the regulations covering everyone in that situation.

If it has expired then stop being a cheap sod and get yourself another one and leave on that.
