Question:

Dualshock3 worth it?

Im still just using the SIXAXIS that came with my PS3, but i was thinking about going to EB games, and buying a dualshock 3, but is it really worth it?

I heard eb gives $20 trade in on SIXAXIS controllers, so it would cost $34.99 or $39.99 i forget.

Also, the game i play most is Call Of Duty 4 On-line, if that matters.

  1. yes because the rumble in call of duty 4 becomes really cool when grenades and airstrikes occur.

  2. It is worth it if you like the feature. Before it came out I didn't really miss it since games didn't have it anyway.  But now that I do have it I wouldn't go back to six-axis if given a choice. That's why I make my guests use the six-axis now. Pretty much every game uses rumble now, and the controller feels that little bit heftier, instead of feeling like I might break it if I hold it too tight. So if you like rumble like I do, then yeah, it is definitely worth it.

  3. its sorta like a wii controller except better made...but ya its worth it

  4. Instead of trading in your Sixaxis just buy a Dualshock 3 so if you have a friend over you can play together.

  5. yep..if you want to..its just an sixaxis with a rumble feature.. and its more heavier..yeah, sure its worth it..go for it..

  6. I got the DS3 in November because i didn't wanna wait for it to be released in America so I imported it from Japan and it's awesome

Here is a list of games that are/will be compatible with the DS3. Unfortunately, CoD4 iisn'tone of them

  7. In my opinion - no, particularily if mostly you play COD4, as it does not support rumble (unlike what a previous answerer said) I had a DS1 with my PSOne, a DS2 with my PS2, but really, I do not miss it. I even bought a second Sixaxis controller for my PS3, overlooking the DS3. Up to ones own preference I guess.

  8. Its has Rumble and is a little more heavy. Its worth it IF you want it. and COD4 doesnt support rumble. If that matters.
