Duane "bang" ludwig....?

Question

why isn't he in the ufc. his last appearance in the ufc he knocked a guy out in about 8 sec. and begged the ufc to keep him around. why isn't he there?

While I am a fan of Bang and I think that he is in the top 10 p4p strikers in mma, he is incredibly inconsistent.  He can go out and beat great fighters then get KOed by Sam Morgan.  On an unrelated note, he really lucked out with the stand up to check the cut in the Genki fight.  Had the fight not resumed standing, he would have clearly lost.  On a final unrelated note he was not given a fair shake in the Penn fight.  He and Penn were standing right next to one another when the ref started the fight, making Penn's task of closing the distance a non-issue.  To come full circle, I like Ludwig and would like to see him back in the UFC, but he really needs some consistency.

I agree with Mr Chris...Ludwig is very talented, but also very inconsistant, but he remains a very talented and entertaining fighter. I would love to see how he stacks up against the current Lightweights or Welterweights in the UFC.

I don't know but i loved watching that kid fight. He had a serious stand up game and was even getting better with his ground game. Good question.
