Pakistan surprised South Africa on day two of the first Test in Dubai with a brilliant display of seam and spin bowling in the first session. The visitors stuttered at the start of the second day as they only added 54 runs for the loss of five wickets, during the lunch session.
Pakistan started off the day in emphatic fashion as they grabbed three quick wickets in the space of just 19 runs. The new ball did the trick for pacer Umar Gul as the red cherry moved off the wicket prodigiously.
Umar wreaked havoc for the opposition batsmen as he grabbed worthy figures of three wickets for 20-runs in today’s opening spell. For a start, he delivered one outside the off-stump, which Paul Harris poked towards slip and Younis Khan did the rest by taking a sharp catch.

Furthermore, Abdur Rehman backed his partners by snaring three wickets for 101-runs.
