Dubaianswer likely to win Wulfruna Stakes – Wolverhampton Preview
Dubaianswer seems to be in a favourable position to add third victory of 2012 to her glorious career chart by winning New William Hill Iphone App Lady Wulfruna Stakes at Wolverhampton racecourse on Saturday, March 10.
Tony Coyle’s bay filly is all set to compete against her 11 strong rivals including Docofthebay, Belgian Bill, Capone, Celtic Sultan, Clockmaker, Lockantanks, Cochabamba, Elshabakiya, Libys Dream, Night Lily and Roodle.
The high-voltage Class 1 contest of 7f32y Standard distance will begin at 2:20 (GMT). The total prize money reserved for the event is £19,849.
Since the dawn of the calendar year, Dubaianswer has been performing excellently. After bagging the second victory of her career on January 3, she went on to finish first in her last outing on February 23. She ran for both the times at Southwell.
Since making her debut in March 2011, the four-year-old talented filly has not run at Wolverhampton to date. Thus, today’s outing will be an acid test of her racing skills.
Out of her total 10 starts so far, the C. E. Whiteley-owned runner has won three coupled with earning £9,017 as prize money.
Dubaianswer is expected to capitalise on her newly-gained momentum and demonstrate a winning performance in this race as well. The brilliant filly’s chances to win are more than 90 percent provided she manages to read the running conditions.
Out of her competitors, Capone and Libys Dream can be able to do well in the race as the duo owns enough talent.
Capone perked up his confidence greatly by winning a big race on February 3, 2012. Prior to this, Scott Dixon’s bay gelding had bagged a good victory in November 2011. Overall, he has won 7 out of his 36 starts so far.
On the other hand, Libys Dream won two consecutive races during the month of December 2011. The Tom Dascombe-trained filly finished second in her last outing at Lingfield on February 24, 2012.
Along with these two runners, the duo of Lockantanks and Clockmaker are also likely to show decent performances in today’s competition.
Thus, there will be witnessed an awe-inspiring clash at Wolverhampton today. Dubaianswer will have to apply her utmost effort to make a breakthrough. Let us see how he sizzles for success. Good luck to the young filly.
