Dublin RDS getting a best spot(for irishers)?

So im going to a gig in the rds in september and i wanna know how early u have to que to get front of standing right infront of the stage..??

Never been to a gig myself in the RDS but friends have and they have been queing to get into the pit (front stage) since 9 or 10 am BUT I have another group of friends who went to that same gig, arrived at like 2 or 3 and got into the pit no bother, it really depends on how popular the gig is, the gig they went to was Iron Maiden so there was tonnes of people there!
