  1. stay in the temple bar area-alot of the hotels there are on top of the pubs they are really nice-and affordable-plus they are close to everything

stay away from st stephens green -way too expensive

  2. http://www.dublintourist.com/

This site gives lists of hotels, B&Bs etc in Dublin, but I like the idea of hiring an apartment, that sounds good

  3. try

    www.hotels1800.ie

    www.roomex.ie

    www.aerlingus.ie

might give you a wide range of prices

  4. http://www.goireland.com/

  5. Stay in apartments instead, you'll get more space a better location and it'll possibly be cheaper.

I stayed in some just over the millenium bridge as good as in temple bar and it was about 60 squid a night (there were 4 of us in there though - so £15 each)

    i'll dig out a link...

  6. compare prices with this.

    http://www.totalstay.com

    10 points for me?

  7. The Days hotel on talbot st. Centrally located and cheap.......enjoy

  8. Your best bet is to go off of one of the reputable websites which inspect their hotels and also assign a star rating. Then back this up by looking at the images and description of the hotel.

Cheaper than hotels - Dublin provides a sort tool where you can arrange the results by price, location , star rating and hotel name, last minute or year round, then dig into the results to reveal special offers and use of amenities. Try this link:

    http://www.cheaperthanhotels.co.uk/Irela...

Hope this helps - good luck with you plans

  9. Aston Hotel is very decent and is very cheap by Dublin City centre standards.  the Fleet Street hotel in Temple bar is also a good choice.

  10. We went to the Russell Court Hotel last year £275 for two,

B&B ,this was for two nights, booked  through Ryanair inc flights from Edinburgh , busy hotel with great night life .

  11. The Mespil is well advertised as a good value budget hotel. It is a 3 star and about 10 minutes walk from the city. Otherwise nearby it is the Mc Eniffe Grand Canal Hotel. I stayed there and it was lovely. Other places are holiday Inn, Days Hotel etc.

    Some websites to look at:

    www.visitdublin.com

    www.ireland.ie

    www.tripadvisor.co.uk

    www.octopus.co.uk

  12. Blooms, not the cleanest but there is a nice pub in the basement. Very central location, Temple Bar area, so if you plan on visiting different bars then you would not have to worry about transportation.

  13. hi i always visit dublin and stay at apartments called ellis quay apartments, they are on the river liffey about a 10 minute walk from temple bar and the town centre. Behind the apartments run the luas line and you can catch this into o connell street. The apartments are absolutely fantastic, they are fully furnished, with a tv, dvd, and freeview boxes.most of the apartments have balconies, all have kitchens, with all mod cons. they charge per apartment and not per person, the charge is about 50 english pounds a night. you can ring the booking office on 003531633739 also take a look at the website which is www.ellisapartments.com. I wouldnt stay any where else, and i guarantee you will not be dissappointed. have a great time where ever you stay, Dublin is a fantastic place.
