  1. I live in Dublin and I was born here, but I reckon Galway is beautiful..it'g getting a bit too crowded nowadays, but If I was gonna Leave Dublin, I'd move to Galway..but there's much more to see and do in Dublin , even if it is not as picturesque as Galway

  2. I think Dublin would be best espesially if you work in IT. Loads of computer companys (google, yahoo intel etc.) have their European HQ in Dublin and about 95% of Irish companys have their HQ in Dublin. as for pubs music movies and everything else you said Dublin has got loads of them. Galway has them too but Dublin has more of them and better ones. Property isnt that much more expensive than Galway and Dublin has an International Airport while Galway has a regional airport that is rarely used. So taking everything into account Dublin is he better opyion (ps sorry the answer was so long!!!)

  3. im from galway, there's probably more jobs in it in dublin,

but apartment will be crazy expensive,

and i have to say galway is better for the other thinks you mentioned too

  4. Dublin wins hands down in terms of IT jobs as Microsoft, google, intel, ebay, paypal, yahoo all have their european headquarters in Dublin.

    Galway has HP though.

Galway is much cheaper for renting apartments.

Dublin has more of those things you mention; pubs, music, movies, restaurants, shopping but Galway has its fair share of those too and you would not be disappointed.  Both have nice beaches but you would have to travel a few miles from the city center to get to a nice beach in either galway or dublin.

Galway is a nicer, cleaner, much smaller city and doesn't experience the traffic problems of dublin.

Its a tough choice, financially the money is to be made in dublin, but i think the quality of life is slightly higher in galway.

  5. I think Galway even though I live in Dublin. It's to crowded in Dublin. I really like Galway My cousins are from there.
