I am looking for an apartment or house to rent close to the city, the neighbourhood should have easy access to chreche, doctors, and of course calm. we are a middle class young couple with a baby. Somebody today advised us not to go by tallaght because of few reasons...

Our budget is 1500E 2 BED ROOM. maybe little bit more for a recommended area. thank you

  1. There are nice parts out by Tallaght.  One of the areas my friend lives in is Kiltipper. Fairly nice place.   Also Palmerstown, Dublin 20.  I live here and i can't say anything bad about it.  Lucan is bad for the traffic.  Chapelizod is another nice spot.

  2. Tallaght is not the only rough area.. there are worse than that lol . Creches and Doctors are everywhere so thats not going to narrow it down for you. Your better off going by price. Dublin houses for rent and purchase are completely based on location. So if it's cheap it cos its less desirable location etc. You may have to compromise and pick a place further away from city centre and commute.
