I personally put 24000+  miles on a Mille. Not a single problem from the bike. The Ducati requires a little more maintenance but there is nothing like them

only your pocket book can deside if you want the original or knockoff

I ride 100 miles a day 5 days a week, I went with the knockoff, and will unload it in a year.

Ducati all the way...they make some of the fastest bikes out there. I am kind of biased though because I have been on a couple.
