A little over 2 years ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;

2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;

3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Unfortunately, since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet;

2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $4.20 a gallon;

3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);

4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate

5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars.

America voted for 'change' in 2006, and we got it!

Remember it's Congress that makes law . . . NOT the President. He has to work with what's handed to him.

Obama's quote of the day.....

"We live in the greatest nation in the history of the world, let's CHANGE IT!"

wow

And dont even start blaming the economy on the war, the illegals cost us $338 BILLION (yes with a B) annually. And what have the Democrats done about it? J@CK$HIT

  1. Yes!  You forgot that corn went from $2 a bushel to $8.00...

  2. L:ook you predjudiced, brainless, fool. Democrats try to save our nations tax dollars, Bill Clinton had us in billions of dollars of surplus, and where has Bushass put us? Ranked below European countries in edjucation and left the American dollar worth zip. If anyone is to blame, it is dumbass republicans like you.

  3. There is so much factually and logically wrong with your tirade, uh... question, that I won't have time to address all of it, but let me start:

    1)  Conditions don't  change overnight.  A lot of our economic problems are just now coming to bear because of policies from 2003-2005.

    2)  The Democrats don't "control" Congress even now.  They have a razor-thin margin in the Senate, but need 60 votes to pass anything controversial and 67 votes to override a Bu--sh-- veto.

    3)  The way Bu--sh-- has usurped power, he has relied less on Congress than any president before him.  A lot of his policies have been carried out by executive order and by co-opting committee chairs in Congress from whatever party.

    4)  Oil prices have been affected more by Bush's Iraq war than any other cause.  If you don't understand and admit that, you are either an idiot or a Bu--sh-- shill, or both.

    5)  The subprime crisis is due to lack of regulation of Bush's banker cronies by Bush's incompetent appointees in regulatory agencies.

    6)  Your $338 billion figure for the illegals must be straight from Rash Limbo's mouth (either the one in his head, or the other one down below).  At any rate, the Iraq war is going to cost our children NINE TIMES that much, for nothing.

  4. Open your eyes and stop acting like the three monkeys hear no evil see no evil and speak no evil you have bush and the crew to thank for this. and maybe if his family did not work for the big gas companies something would be done about gas prices

  5. They're trying to blame high gas prices on President Eisenhower. He approved trhe interstate highway system.

  6. Well considering that the economy was doing good until the democrats took control i would say yes.

  7. Yes, and they are to busy playing politics
