Ducklings?

Question

My white farm duck has just had eleven ducklings.

7 are yellow with pink beeks

4 are mostly brown with yellow bellys.

The dad could be

a grey muscovy

another white farm duck or

a black runner

which is the right dad?

Or is it a mix of two of them?

Unfortunatley there is no way to tell unless you saw the breeding.

And most ducklings dont show they're true colors untill there feathers come in.

So maybe it will be easyer to tell when the ducklings are older ^.^

you cant really know who the dad is because the geans could have been past down from generation to generation and the coulers could be mostly from the mother, in order to find out who the dad is you need to find out what all of their geans are, sorry.

well the ducklings can't be a mix of two Dad's that's phsyically imposslible so the ducklings ill be from onne of the drakes (dad's) only

the 7 yellow with pink beaks are from the grey muscovy . .  

i know this as a fact cos muscovy ducks have pink beaks  and i used to breed them a few years back

The other  for will be from the black runner also to check that the runnner's duckling are always Tall and proud looking ducks so to speak in comparison to other

note, how tall they are your black ducklings will look like that excpet obv different colours ..

.yours are black from the dad (black runner drake) and white from the mum

you won't know until they get their full feathers... unless the dad's genes are recessive.  You probably have a mixture of all of them as ducks aren't fussy when it comes to their girlfriends!!

good luck with them!  I'm expecting ducklings in about 10 days, I'm very excited!!

it is impossible to tell, i guess. there might be both of them:)
