Ducted heater size?

i need to install a ducted heating system in my house and want to know what size heater i should get does anyone know how to work out the power (Kw) of heater in relation to the size of house

...it can get sorta complicated.

Depends on how cold it gets as well as building style, how many cubic feet of air  volume, amount of insulation, how many vents, window glass area, crawl space or basement, insulated or not, etc, etc.
