Dudleys Viking to bounce back in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 2
Relying on the amazing performance at Hove, it is being expected that, Dudleys Viking will impress the connections and audience in the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy – Heat 2 on Monday, 2nd July at Romford over a distance of 400 metres.
The 3 to 1 entry will be challenged by Killieford Jazz, Soho Rage, Rebellious Mary, Darian Marvel, and Fallen Angel.
The two-year son of Royal Impact, started racing this season, and accomplished remarkably well during the short span of time.
His career debut resulted in a second position in a 400 metres race at Romford on 7th February. He missed the race by five and one-half lengths as the winner, Droopys Bliss, won in 24.44 seconds.
His first success of the career came around on 28th February, as he took 24.67 seconds to settle the 400 metres race at Romford, and had two and one-half lengths margin saving him from defeat.
Settling as the runner up was, Centurion May.
The training session on 19th March at Peterborough over 420 metres led to the second success of the career. He won a 420 metres race on 26th March at Peterborough by reaching the other end of the wire in 25.97 seconds, and headed the field by a length.
Qualifying as the runner up was, Millwards Matt.
The black dog, out of b***h, Droopys Isla, then won on 10th April at Romford over 400 metres by completing the track distance in 24.59 seconds, and edged past, Millwards Matt, by a slight head’s difference.
22nd May saw him winning a 400 metres race at Romford, after he had stormed through the track in 24.80 seconds.
It took, Dudleys Viking, 24.44 seconds to cover a Grade A3 400 metres flat race on 2nd June at Romford. Missing the race by 3 ¾ lengths was, Adamant Alex.
He stayed winless in three races after, but then went on to win the Grade A2 400 metres flat race on 16th June at Romford. He was done racing in 24.31 seconds.
