I had no Braxton Hicks, sometimes i got lower back/hip pain for sitting over 10minutes, this happen bcus the baby was too low i think ... ....haven't lost my mucus either ...... I know the baby will come when he's readỵ but can you atleast tell me if this happened to you, and how long am I away from real labor ? ... Dr. asked if i want to be induced, i said i will wait, so he said if i dont have my baby by the nxt appointment he will have to induce me, but i heard that hurts and takes forever too .... i've been walking, eating spicy food,... my husband wont do the " s*x " method b/cus he afraid it will hurt the baby .... ... can some1 give me any advice? thanks for all of your answers ^_^

  1. you never know when, unfortunately.  s*x CANNOT hurt your baby.  try accupressure between your thumb and forefingers, foot massages, and aromatherapy.  i did all of the things you are doing and all the things i mentioned and didn't go into labor for another week, with twins so...  dang i wish we had more CONTROL over these things!!!  lol... but good luck and congratulations!!!  *and i think you will go into labor in the next 3 days*  just a hunch to help!

  2. yes it is... also it wont hurt the baby to have s*x...  so tell him you need to..

  3. Sorry I don't have any advice for you but congratulations! :]

That's the day of my birthday. ^^

  4. married for a few yeahs with 3 kids trust me have s*x. don't be scared but having s*x will open u up. do it until ur due date. and everything will be fine. ur labor will even be easier.

  5. When I was pregnant 10 yrs. ago with my daughter I was in competition for having the 'New Years' baby in our Town. We did a lot of walking & by the next day I was in labour.

Even though she came 8 hrs. later & 1 hour of pushing with no drugs, I do recommend that instead of being on the bed pushing, the Nurses took me to the washroom, set me on the toilet & let gravity take its course & it worked.

I would have saved all that time of pushing with my 1st pregnancy if I would have just sat on the throne. Walk a lot & sit on the toilet, I ended up having the 'New Years' baby & saved a lot of extra time that I spent being with my baby instead of having her still in me trying to push her out.

    Good Luck to you.

  6. yeah the pain while walking is just pressure from the baby being so low. As far as being induced I was with both of mine and they were 9 hours. which is not long! as far as being painful.... labor is labor if it be induction or natural. there is no difference in the pain. being induced is just a kick start to labor. once your contractions start it is all the same. don't be scared if your doctor wants to induce you. he just wants what is best for your baby and you. good luck

  7. what you are feeling its totally normal!!!.... im 35 weeks and cant wait no more....

keep walking, eating spicy food and all the methods there are, they could help a lot!

    congrats

  8. i thing you need to contact your doctor and ask his advise.

  9. I was induced both times with my girls eventhough I went in 2 weeks early but I started labor and wouldnt dialate induction did not take that long with neiter of my girls it just helps the contractions come along so they baby can be birthed so dont worry and walking is the best you can do for now like you said he will come when he is ready

  10. Tell hubby don't be afraid, s*x will not hurt the baby and the s***n can cause contractions if you are ready.
