Due date was yesterday 24th and baby turned sideways today!?

i have been contracting on and off . i was dilated to 2 at my last visit lost my plug yesterday. and have been having some contractions today, then all of a sudden the babies movements started to hurt a little i was busy sewing my nursing cover finally looked down and saw that my stomach has gone completely flat i can feel his head and butt on either side , has this happened to you so close to delivery? did your baby move back on their own?

To be on the safe side your Dr just might tell you he wants to do a C-section since if the baby does not move back on his own it can cause him distress, and hurt him and you dont want that but good luck hope everything goes ok with you and your little one and god bless

This happened to my best friend. she went to doctor and they told her the baby was sideways. they set her up for an appointment for the following week. but 3 hours after her visit she went into labor and when we went to the hospital they flipped the baby and put a belt thingy on her for a couple hours. well they went and broke her water and baby hand went over his head. so they were trying to move the baby hand away from his head and he moved back sideways causing his cord to come out. the doctor had to hold her hand "up there" so the cord wouldnt get compressed. she had an emergency c-section. So if you have any signs of labor you should go to hospital. if your baby is sideways and your water breaks it can be very dangerous. i'm not trying to scare you but be very cautious. your baby moved for a reason and this late in pregnancy it most likely wont go back on its own.
