  1. if there is blood, you need to get to the hospital asap

  2. Well, within 2 weeks probably. If you want to you can be induced anytime. I had my induction scheduled one week after my due date but I actually went into labor right on my due date. So I didn't need an induction! It all depends on how miserable you are and if you can take it for a little while longer. :) Congratulations!!!!!!!

  3. I'm sorry that I cant give you a good answer, but there is just no way to be able to tell when labor will start. I had my membranes stripped and was then dilated to 4 with my last child for 2 weeks until I was finally induced.

Edit: the bloody show is not a medical emergency (as I am sure you know)

  4. if there is bloody show then u are suposed to call the after hours of you doctor so he can instruct you on what to do he may have you come in asap

  5. I was 2cm dilated and 50% effaced and still had to be induced.......bloody show can carry on for days, but I would call a Doctor or the hospital where you plan on giving birth to apprise them of your situation, they might want to check you out anyway and see if there is progress.

  6. Sounds like your trying to guess your due date by going by steps in a book... throw the book away lol... when baby is ready "something" in your lower stomach will tell you (trust me you'll know) it doesn't hurt, it just feels different... if that makes any sense? Stop worrying ok... take a warm bath - or read - you've probably already done your fair share of "nesting (cleaning and preparing the house for baby) I wanted my last baby out fast after my due date so I went for a walk to bring on speedy labor. s*x can speed things up if you feel you have the energy (sperm softens the membrane) After telling you all this... its up to your baby when it all happens... but enjoy every second - it happens so fast and you tend to forget everything (including the pain) Have fun!
