Duke Box Melody in charge of the lineup of the Bernard Barry Bookmaker A2 525 Round 1 Heat 1 at Shelbourne Park
The Grade A2 Bernard Barry Bookmakers A2 525 Round 1 Heat 1 is to be held at Shelbourne Park over 525 yards flat. The race has a lineup of six prepared to reel in for the wire and get entitled to the €100 prize money by making it to the other side of the
wire before any other contesting.
Hounds contesting tonight include Starlight Bound, Cryptic Jester, Forest Rock, Bing Sveta, Duke Box Melody and Tyrur Djokovic.
Duke Box Melody, Head Bound’s two-year-old black son out of b***h Talita Beauty, cracked through the 2012 season by scoring a second position out of the debut race.
He was second in the Grade A4 Sis Topdog Deal A4 525 on 23rd February at Shelbourne Park over 525 yards. The race was won by Tyrur Duck who was successful in clocking the track distance in 29.15 seconds and was at an advantage of two lengths.
The runner up for the race was Duke Box Melody while Lemon Gael finished third behind the winner. The 4/5 favourite of the race, Moss Lane ended the race fourth.
The two-year-old worked on 17th January over 350 yards at Shelbourne Park and then scored second in the seasonal debut which indicates his ability to dominate the track tonight.
Another credible entry for the race tonight is Bing Sveta, Head Bound’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Varra Lark. The hound has already ventured out six times ever since the new season took off. Half of her attempts have been credited against
her name as wins.
Bing Sveta penetrated into the season on 5th January in the Grade A4 Welcome To Shelbourne A4 525 and won by clocking the track distance in 29.66 seconds while in lead of ¾ of a length.
The 2/1 favourite of the race, Firefox, parked fourth behind the winner.
She bagged her second victory in the Grade A4 Thursday Night Early Bird A4 525 Semi-Final on 12th January at Shelbourne Park over 525 yards.
Bing Sveta was the 2/1 joint favourite of the race and was on the other side of the wire in 29.16 seconds.
Her last victory was in the Grade A2 525 yards race that he cleared in 29.16 seconds while in lead of one and a half length, setting Motabeg Blue second.
