Duke Tip Summer Camp????

Question

Has anyone been to the Duke Tip Program Summer Camp?

I am going to duke tip camp at A&M soon and don't really know what to expect.

here are my thoughts.....please answer if you can..

1. 7 hours of class every day, is it just me or does that sound REALLY tiresome???

2. Are they strict about Lights Out??? I am a nightowl :)

3. Can I bring a microwave???

I am a nightfeeder who has strange cravings for oatmeal and soup LATE LATE at night :O

4. They say no email on your laptop, what about on your iphone???

5. Are the dorms decent?? or super gross :/ ??

6. How's the food???

7. Any fun activities???

8. Anything special I should bring??

9. Did I miss anything??

Blah...i did this last year and had a blast!

1.7 hours of classes isnt that much believe me. You will act just like you do in school more or less.

2.Lights out for us was at 10 but me and my roomie didnt get to sleep until 12ish so yeah nope they just go lights out get in bed and thats it

3. no microwave sry...bring chips and soda or stuff that doesnt need to be cooked

4. no cell either because an ipone is a cell... you will be able to call people at the end of each week

5. it just depends on which dorms they put you in. but the dorms i stayed in were ok.

6. food is odly good to say it is the food from the cafeteria.

7. well it depends but the activitys are okish.

8. BRING AN IPOD OR RADIO!!! tons of candy and soda and some board games to entertain yourself

9. I dont think you did but i prolly did.

HAVE FUN!!!
