Duke of Edinburgh's Award Equivalent?

Does anybody know of a UK (or Scottish) scheme similar to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award but for a lower age group. It would need to be suitable for people aged 10 - 14. Thanks

  1. Well you should think of joining a group that goes hiking or something. Something that will prepare you for the duke of edinburgh (I'm doing it at the minute). Or do some community service- basically anything that will help you when you start it. Even take a course that you have to work through and get a certificate in the end =]

    Hope that helps a bit.


  2. The only equivalent to the Duke of Edinburgh's Award is the Brownies/Guides or the Cubs/Scouts.
