Dull Pool Balls?

Question

I have a set of pool balls that have lost their shinny look. How can I get them shinny again. I wiped them with a soft cloth to get the grim off. Now they are dull. Any way of getting them to look new again?

just wash them in some soap and water and let them dry

Use a car buffer, it works for me.

some billiard suppliers, and pool halls will have a machine cleaner to get them sparkling for you, for a price.  Or you can get one of the ball cleaners for yourself if you like.
