For the past 4 days i've had dull aches in my left arm and tingling fingers and some very slight chest pain. Im 19, i smoke (bout 6 a day), i drink on weekends, not that much though. I sometimes get a feeling of pressure in my chest too. I had 2 ECG's at the start of the year and both said i was completely fine, my blood pressure was 120/78 and 2 doctors listened to my heart and lungs and said i was fine, they all put it down to anxiety. But this really feels like something else. Should i see a Cardiologist maybe? my parents think im being stupid. I'm also 5"9ft and 11 and a half stone. I can walk long distances, i sometimes walk about 15 miles to get home from partys etc. So im really unsure and uneasy. Thanks.

  1. You might want to see a vascular surgeon to check for clots in your body. I have one in my left arm from IVs during my surgery two weeks ago.

Just get yourself checked out and yes I have anxiety too which doesn't help because alot of symptoms resemble anxiety ones.

  2. Do you have any pain  or shortness of breath when you walk 15 miles?   What are you doing before you get chest and  arm pain. to be safe I think you should have a stress cardiolyte study. If it's normal perhaps you should think about a neurologist also. You don't state what you do for a living. When you had the ecg's done did you have any pain or shortness of breath,  If you did not have pain with the ecg's they are going to tell your Drs. anything. Good luck

  3. you should go see a specialist in heart problems tell your mom and/or dad soon
