ok i am 15 and have had a dull my left t******e for a couple days. it is the same kind of pain like when you pinch (not on purpose of course) a t******e, i checked and there is no abnormal growth or lump. i have also had a sore neck and a little bit of a headache for some time. when i am just sitting or standing it doesnt hurt, but it is a little tender to the touch. a am sure is isnt a torsion because it isnt a constant pain or a severe one. about the day it started i was sitting on my brothers honda cbr 600rr "crotch rocket" and kinda smashed em on the tank a little bit but i am not sure if they would still be sore. it started almost a week ago. i also think it might be mumps...

Thanks

  1. Well, here's the good news.   It isn't mumps.  You should have had a combination immunization as a baby for measles, mumps and rubella which made you immune.  Plus, the main symptom for mumps would be swelling on one side of your throat- not soreness in one t******e.  It could be an infection of the epidydimis or simply irritation of it, or you could have a mild irritation of the pudendal nerve- caused by the "crotch rocket" as you called it.  There is an irritation of the nerve, the pudendal nerve, which happens to serve that region, and it's commonly called "bicyclist seat neuropathy" or cyclist's syndrome.  The cure is generally rest and taking care of where/how you plant your anatomy, at least when it's mild.  That's what it sounds like your trouble most likely is.  This condition generally hurts a bit more when you are seated, but not necessarily so depending on how you sit.  If it doesn't ease off in a few more days, then you probably ought to consider seeing the doctor.  In the meantime, I imagine you'd get some relief with ibuprofen and some snug fitted undies to help keep things up close and secure.  And obviously, staying clear of the bike.
