It's a Dr. Seuss book, and it's great! I have seen it in hard cover, as well as board books. You should be able to find it at almost any book store.

I believe the book is Hand, Hand, Fingers, Thumb.  Written by Al Perkins, Illustrated by Eric Gurney.
