The Men in Blue are at the Queen’s Park Oval to have their first practice session with their new coach, Duncan Fletcher.
Team India is gearing up before their clash against West Indies in the only T20 of their first overseas tour after the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Cricket World Cup 2011. The match will take place at the Port of Spain on June 4, 2011.
Fletcher, the former Zimbabwean cricketer and English coach, succeeded http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757.
The West Indies tour is Fletcher’s first assignment. Since the Indian squad is missing most of its star power, the coach's job has become tougher.
The new coach remained a silent spectator during most of the session. He enjoyed watching his players take part in games and field practice.
Fletcher, who believes in giving players due freedom, continued from where his predecessor left, allowing the players to practice freely.
The coach is confident of his side, especially after their World Cup performance and the Indian Premier League, however, he has shown concerns over the fatigue factor.

Fletcher has been appointed by the Board of Control for Cricket in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750 for a term of 2 years. However, his contract may be extended afterwards in light of his progress with the side.
