Moving up soon to Scotland, we were looking at Dunfermline, or the surrounding area, anyone live there got any advise or comments, like on schools, crime etc..

No silly remarks please, I have been to Scotland many times and always found the people warm and friendly.

  1. Culross is a nice wee town, very near Dunfermline.

  2. Look  out for Dalgety Bay its a fabulous

place to stay and bring up young children.

Its just accross the Forth Road Bridge, and

you'll not be disappointed by the surrounding

    area or amenities.

    Come and have a look.

  3. It's just Beautiful, why the thumbs down?

Keith you seem to have a chip on your shoulder against me, is it because i am English?

  4. Nice area, well connected to a number of employment areas. I would personally live outwith the city centre, probably out to the west or north - it depends on your degree of accessiblity.

There is one downside of the area - one of the Westminster MP is one of those absentee MPs who has lived for the last decade in Whitehall in London (goes by the name of G. Brown). [However, at the next election, he will likely lose his seat to the SNP.]
