Dungeons and dragons?

i was thinking of getting it but then i wonderd if you can play it on ya own or do you have 2 play wid other people

not that i've ever played it, but my friends have, and i'm reliably informed you need 3 or more to make it 'interesting'

While there are solo adventures, the game is best played with at least 2 players and 1 dungeon master.  The best games have 4 or 5 players and a dungeon master.  If you want to play and can't get a group together consider a PC game like Neverwinter Nights or something similiar for your console gaming system.  Online games like Everquest and such are also good options.

AD&D had some solo adventures in the X-series of modules such as Lathan's Gold and Ghost of Lion Castle that were very good. They played well also when converted to group play.

The Challenge series was developed for one-on-one (1-player and 1-DM); 8 had been published that I had owned and used. 2 each for a Fighter, Cleric, Mage, and Thief.

The game is best with 4-6 players and a DM.

If you really want to play, then find other people who play. Single player will only leave you wanting to play with others.

well its up to you to choose among the two choises you can either buy a two player dungeons and dragons or the single player but my advice is you go with the 2 player

i played the demo for 15 days i think.. anyway its a great game and it has nice graphics.. you can make friends really fast and join guilds which are full of people you can play with..  playing alone is also fun but with others makes it more fun..
