Dunion Wells likely to shine in Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy - Heat 2
Dunion Wells is expected to prevail in the Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy - Heat 2 at Nottingham in England on Monday, July 30, 2012. The Grade OR winner will walk away with a cash prize of £125 in the end.
The 305 metres flat race is scheduled to start at 20:37 GMT and a couple of very decent runners will be battling at the front for victory. One of them is, Dunion Wells, who has got a decent record overall and is carrying the winning momentum as well, which
will encourage the punters to risk money on him.
Although the fawn dog does not have a lot of experience in this class, yet he will have an edge over his rivals, as most of them are inexperienced at this level. Due to this, he has been given a general starting price of 2 to 1 by the bookmakers.
Dunion Wells has been doing a decent job in recent times, which is quite an encouraging sign for his team. He has taken part in just a couple of races at Nottingham and managed to do well in both of them, which means that he likes the track conditions here.
In his most recent race, the young hound was priced 9 to 4 by the bookies. He was not the favourite to win and was up against some quality runners. However, his speed was impressive and he caused an upset in the end. He took the lead pretty early and then
held onto it until the end, winning by one length and three quarters.
World Class’ son out of Broadway Sizzler was competitive in his penultimate outing as well, but failed to finish on the top back then. He was given a starting price of 7 to 1 and ended up second in the end. He was a touch unlucky that time around, as he
was crowded at the start of that event. Despite that, his speed was good enough to earn him a respectable position.
The A. Dawson’s trainee first came onto the competitive scene in March 2011 and has shown that his performances over shorter distances have been a lot better. He will have another chance of shining at Nottingham today.
