Dunion Wells to grab success in HTB Electrical Contractors Sprint Trophy Heat 2 at Sunderland
Dunion Wells ought to be thereabouts at some stage in the HTB Electrical Contractors Sprint Trophy Heat 2, taking place at Sunderland on Friday, August 24th. The fawn dog has been performing quite consistently over the past few weeks, and the
punters should not judge him on his recent trouncing.
A. Dawson’s trainee clinched a couple of brilliant victories last month. After beating Gone To Carrhue by 1¾ lengths, he continued his good work to register a close triumph at end of the month.
The son of World Class ran a couple of fine races in defeat earlier this month. Luck was not on his side last time, when he finished fourth behind Skate On last week. There is no doubt over his ability to spring up a surprise and therefore, one needs to
think twice before looking elsewhere for the winner.
He just needs a slice of luck to regain his momentum. Other hounds in the crew are: Ballymac Jones, Lissom Jack, Lukefayegrace, Cain and Tyrur Brogan. Just like the opening heat, this meeting carries a cash prize worth £150.
Ballymac Jones is in fine fettle these days, and a decent exit can see him home. The brindle dog is coming into this race after a couple of very good trips. C. Evans’s trainee was runner-up in his previous two appearances at this level, and an extra effort
would help him produce a better result this time.
Lukefayegrace is entitled to improve for a further look around. The black dog completed the order of finish on his previous outing at Hove. Cain has a lot to offer in this class. Following a few marvellous performances, the white and black dog has made it
to this level, and is quite determined to carry on in the same fashion.
Lissom Jack has not been disgraced in fair sprints on travels, but this is not easy. Tyrur Brogan is a lightly race type, and will have to raise his game in order to succeed.
According to our calculations, Dunion Wells is in a good position to outsmart Ballymac Jones. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
