due typhoon flt was cancelled. i called zuji (think 1 of those outsourced type) spent some time talking to an unknown face poss someone employed just to pick up the phone to no avail. the bottom line is 'no' zuji will not give me a refund for all my hotel bookings yet i hv to pay em for 'services' m totally fed up now they wont listen to our explanations tat flt was cancelled i called the hotel myself n was told yes refund is acceptable if due typhoon. my question is - is there redress for us..cant find a real person to talk to in zuji singapore. sighhhhhhhhhh

  1. I work in a hotel and a hotel is not obliged to cancel your reservation due to any travel incidents. They may let you cancel as a gesture of goodwill. From what I understand Zuji is a company that books various hotels. In that case it won't be any good discussing with the hotel itself as Zuji will still charge you even if the hotel cancels your reservation.

    Did you get a travel insurance? Because that is really your only guarantee to get your money back for sure.

    Sorry, cannot give you any better advice than to keep trying to call. Try and be as pleasant as you can and make them feel sorry for you. Make up a sob story or something. If that doesn't work, try getting angry and mean.

    Plan number three is to send a letter to their customer services and ask for a refund giving your reasons
