Dunseverick set to stand first in Selling Stakes
Dunseverick is all set to seal a sterling success in the Racing UK Sky 432 Selling Stakes that will take place at Redcar racecourse on Tuesday, June 5. The Class 6 contest over the distance of 7 furlongs will begin at 2:35 (GMT).
The Jo Hughes-trained veteran gelding delivered an outstanding performance and finished 3rd in his last start on May 28, 2012. The was Kempton Park For Wedding Handicap that was held at Kempton track. His struggle in that race was really commendable.
However, the four-year-old talented horse is winless yet despite having run for 14 times. Today’s event seems to be an ideal opportunity for him to break his maiden.
Keeping in view the stats of the Dunseverick’s competitors, it is anticipated that none of them will be able to contain him. So, he poses to be the strongest candidate on the paper.
With an aim to bag his maiden victory, the brilliant son of Footstepsinthesand out of Theatrale is going to compete against 9 rivals including Bridge Valley, Logans Legend, Main Beach, Rasselas, Saxby, Thrust Control, Valentine’s Gift, Boga and Maggie Mey.
If Dunseverick runs to his best, he will definitely have up to 80 percent chances to finish first in the Selling Stakes.
Among the other runners, Main Beach and Boga are likely to perform well today.
Main Beach elegantly grabbed a classic triumph against 10 contestants on November 18, 2011. The Tobias B. P. Coles-trained gelding stepped ahead to grab a 5th and a 7th position during November-December.
As a whole, the brilliant horse has won 3 of his total 13 starts to date. He will unleash a decent run in the race.
On the other hand, Boga finished 6th against 8 rivals in her last start on April 11, 2012. The Karen Tutty-trained bay mare has total 3 triumphs to her name. She will also be able to enjoy great time today.
By and large, the event will be thrilling and amazing enough. Let us enjoy the fantastic action and see the way Dunseverick breaks his maiden. Good luck to all the runners.
